Betul has received an application for a school monitor position at Saddlewood Elementary, which is her employment goal. Her resume is not completed but she had scheduled a second appointment with Marsha Lazarus (online, through Albany Public Library).
We are tentatively planning to read The Diary of Anne Frank together. We made a plan to meet at the Guilderland Library so that she could give me an informal tour of all the changes, but she cancelled. She was supposed to prepare a list of questions to ask the librarian.
We hope to resume periodic conversation practice online. Our plans were interrupted by Betul 's illness (the flu, not Covid!), and then school vacation week.
We continue to use jazz chants, audio stories, dictation, and practice of common social conversation Q & A.
