Betul took some time off from lessons when she was upset and depressed about the fires in Turkey, because they were affecting her home town/city.
She had her fingerprints taken for the citizenship process on 8/18/2021. Her interview will be 9/29/2021. She will study for the test on her own and we will also use some lesson time for study.
Betul created an account on JobZone, and we spent some time together exploring jobs near her home, in her interest area (school setting, teacher assistant/classroom aide). She does not have a resume yet.
Betul's son continues to have some health problems related to his juvenile arthritis diagnosis, and these weigh heavily on her mind and heart.
